Rates

North Bay Computer Services Inc. is a far better value than retail stores, who charge $80 an hour or more and require you to carry your computer to them. Remember, North Bay Computer Services Inc. comes to you; it’s a lot more confidential. There is no need to worry about the technician going through your personal files or giving your password away. You are able to see what the technician does and you get to ask questions and learn. You see what you pay for. A big benefit to using North Bay Computer Services Inc. is that we carry most parts on-site to save you time and money.

We also can arrange FREE pickup in the North Bay area (reasonable fee would apply outside of the area). You also have the option to come to us, if that is more convenient for you.

Payments must be made upon completion of service. HST will be applied. We accept Personal Checks, Cash and PayPal.

North Bay Computer Service charges the following rates

Any other service is $69.00 per hour. 1 hour minimum, parts not included in price list. Travelling fee may apply (please call for details)

Most computers get fixed the same day.

Data Backup and Recovery

North Bay Computer Services Inc. can set you up with an automatic data backup done every night or day by a Secure Server for only a $1.25 a day. So far this year this service has already protected 3 or more of our clients. We don't recommend that you just backup your data on a USB stick. Get it done right before you loose everything.

Custom Built Computers

We Can Custom Build Computers to suit your need:

• Our Custom Built towers are made from some of the best name brand parts, yes these can be more expensive then the computers you see in large retail stores, but the prodcut is far more superior.
• e're not on commission, on a bonus structure or even a percentage, we charge a flat fee to build the computer system and we won't sell you what you don't need.
• When you buy a pre-built name brand tower, alot of them have specifications that are not suited for you and you are paying for that. With us you can pick the size of the hard drive, how much RAM and the Operating System (Windows XP, PRO, 7, 64 bit or 32 bit). You have so much more choice. It would be like getting a custom built house with quality parts and service behind it.
• Name brand computers may not contain the same name brand parts, a lot of them use the cheapest parts available to maximize profit.
• When you purchase a computer from us, it will come setup with the Windows CD (most store will sell you a setup fee of 99.99 to 340.00), the worst part is that they don't even set it up at your location. We offer the setup ON-SITE where you get to test the machine before we leave.
• We ONLY use legal software.
• Warranty service with us, will blow away the competition. If you purchase a PC from us we carry most part in stock. Typically you can get your computer fixed the same day. Most big box stores have to order parts from the manufacturer which can take time. Waiting to get parts is unacceptable to us.

Hardware Enhancements/Upgrades

When thinking about upgrading your computer's hardware, you should keep a few things in mind.

• Assess your computer performance needs before making any decisions
• Read user product reviews and get acquainted with the pros and cons of the product.
• Be sure to shop around! The computer hardware industry can be quite cut-throat. Finding someone with a great price on the product doesn't mean they'll be inexpensive when it comes to installation and support. Try to find the vendor that best suits your needs.

North Bay Computer Services Inc. will do all the leg work for you at no cost or obligation to you. Based on your needs and applications,  we'll give you a recommendation for software and hardware products that would best suit you.  Not only that, but we quote using prices from our preferred vendors and we will include the installation costs.
